Canadian Map
This is a technology demonstrator, which
shows two kinds of overlays, both of which can be enabled by
the checkboxes below. The "Roads" overlay is just drawn on
transparent tiles, presented by MapServer. The interactive
overlays are more interesting; they are mouse-sensitive vector
graphics (note tooltips and highlighting), generated from a
database with live PostGIS data, and displayed by FireFox 1.5 (or
other recent Gecko-based browsers) as inline SVG, and in IE6 as
VML.
